Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 26, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how FatBee Inc ("FatBee", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on fatbeeinc.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the EU ePrivacy Directive and US state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA).
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They let the site remember your actions and preferences for a period of time. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and scripts that collect information about your device. In this policy we call all of these "cookies".
First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by another company whose service appears on our Site. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
2. How we use cookies
We sort cookies into the categories below. Only strictly necessary cookies are used without your consent. We do not set analytics or marketing cookies unless you opt in, and you can change your choice at any time.
Strictly necessary
These cookies are needed for the Site to work and to remember your cookie choices. Under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive they do not need consent, and they cannot be switched off.
Analytics
These help us understand how visitors use the Site, for example which pages are visited and for how long, so that we can improve it. We only use them if you consent.
Marketing
These measure how well our advertising works and may be used to show you relevant content on other websites. We only use them if you consent. Under US state privacy laws, this can count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information.
3. Cookies we currently use
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
fatbee_cookie_consent |
FatBee Inc (first party) | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie choices so we don't ask again on every page, and records when you gave them. | 180 days |
At present the Site does not use any analytics or marketing cookies. If we add any, we will list them in this table, update the date at the top of this page and ask for your consent again before they are used.
4. Third-party services
Some features of the Site load content from other providers. These services do not set cookies through our Site, but your browser connects to their servers, which means they receive your IP address and basic browser information:
- Google Fonts (Google LLC): provides the typefaces used on the Site. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Hosted Libraries (Google LLC): provides the jQuery JavaScript library.
- Formspree (Formspree, Inc.): processes the details you submit through our contact forms. It is only used when you send a form. See Formspree's Privacy Policy.
These providers may process data in the United States. Where GDPR applies, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable.
5. Legal basis (GDPR)
We use strictly necessary cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure Site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We use analytics and marketing cookies only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
6. Managing your preferences
When you first visit the Site, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your choice at any time:
The "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page also opens these settings. We ask again every 180 days, or sooner if this policy changes materially.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working properly. Here is how to manage cookies in common browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
7. Your US privacy rights, Do Not Sell or Share, and Global Privacy Control
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising unless you turn on marketing cookies. California residents and residents of other US states with similar laws may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. To opt out, reject marketing cookies in .
We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing, and we keep marketing cookies off. We also honour Do Not Track signals as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent. You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies or the law changes. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If the change is material, we will ask for your consent again.
